HV/LV Switching / Safe Isolation of High and Low Voltage Power Systems

Dynamic and highly concentrated, this course places maximum emphasis on safety when working on or near energized electrical equipment.

This training will provide an understanding of industrial high and low voltage power systems, including statutory regulations, safe operation, and protection of power installations. Also to enable candidates to perform HV & LV switching operations on HV & LV networks up to and including 10kV, and to prepare them for HV authorization in accordance with their companies’ safety rules/regulations.

Personnel who are to be responsible as senior authorized electrical persons (SAEP) for isolations, switching, and issue of electrical permits, isolation certificates or other safety documents can participate in this training.
